Who says you can’t start your meal with “DESSERT”???
Let me share an easy decadent chocolate truffle recipe with you all.
Decadent Chocolate Truffles
You’ll Need
1/2 Pound Bittersweet Chocolate
1/2 Pound Semisweet Chocolate
1 Cup Heavy Cream
2 Tbsp Brewed Coffee
1/2 Tsp Vanilla
Coatings
sweetened coconut, ground hazelnuts, sprinkles, cocoa powder, powdered sugar
Let’s Get Started
Chop both chocolates fine and place in a heat proof bowl.
In a pot, heat the cream until it just starts to boil. Take it off the heat and let it sit for 20 seconds. Pour the cream through a fine meshed sieve into the finely chopped chocolate bowl. Slowly stir the cream and chocolate together, until the chocolate is completely melted.
Whisk in the brewed coffee and vanilla into the melted chocolate.
Put the chocolate bowl in the fridge, until it becomes firm and easy to form balls.
Shape into round bite sized balls and lay on a baking sheet, lined with parchment paper. ( If the chocolate starts melting while forming balls, put it back into the fridge till it’s firm again, and start making the balls again.)
Once the balls are all ready, roll them in the coating of your choice.
Your Decadent Chocolate Truffles are ready to enjoy, anytime!!
With Best Dishes to you all.
