Cream of Tartar is most commonly used in baking. The perfect and a common example where it is one of the major ingredients in baking would be, Angel Food Cake. It is also used when beating egg whites in order to stabilize egg white foam. Cream of Tartar is also used in making meringues, chiffon cake, souffles and candies.
